Building Envelope Consulting & Commissioning
Your Building's Envelope is its physical separation between environmentally distinct spaces. We refer to the various assemblies of that Envelope as Control Barriers. As independent third party consultants and commissioning authorities we facilitate the surety that these Control Barriers are designed and installed to effectively manage air, thermal, vapor, and moisture. This process saves energy, improves building life-cycle, and occupant comfort.
Commercial Roofing Support
One of the largest investments for your project is the Roof Assembly. Our firm has reviewed millions of square feet of roof systems. These reviews include Visual Construction Observation and Testing during construction, Life-Cycle Management during occupancy, and Forensic Investigation & Testing of suspected failures. All of this performed by our staff of RCI Registered Roof Observers and ASNT Compliant Certified Level I Infrared Thermographers.
Testing, Forensics, & Litigation Support
Maybe we weren't part of your project, so chances are your Building Envelope may not have come together as well as it could have. If that's the case, we provide evaluative field testing of Curtain Wall, Storefront, Windows, Claddings, and EIFS. If you have an elusive leak, we provide forensic studies to assist in determining leak origins. Unfortunately, sometimes responsible parties are not willing to correct their mistakes. That's where we provide professional opinions and litigation support.
